Pow Wow

Many people and students came to see the POW WOW and I saw for the first time live Native Americans dancing and singing. When I entered the arena, I smelt smoke that I’ve heard was burning grass and it was kind of Mongolian “Arts” and Japanese “Senko”. I was so excited when I saw the costumes. The costumes were very beautiful, colorful and gallant. They danced many kinds of dance and the dancers were people of all ages. In addition, other people played Host Drum and sang. I didn’t understand what they’re singing but their voice was loud, I think their throat going to sick next day. But, I learned that dancing and singing are a very important part of the life of the American Indian. American Indian people were very kind and I took photos with them. There were a handmade products and many interesting things, and cute accessories and jewelries. The POW WOW was interesting and I liked it. I think this was the best chance to watch American Indian culture live and I was so thankful and happy.
